Christy Adams is an aggressive lawyer who fights for the rights of her clients and knows the strategies of the well-funded defense attorneys. With experience as a defense attorney in workers’ compensation cases, she has inside knowledge into the insurance companies’ strategies. Now working for those who have been injured, she has a competitive edge to maximize the recovery for her clients.
Legal Background
Adams began practicing law in 1994 by representing workers' compensation insurance companies and self-insured employers. During this time, she co-authored a publication analyzing the legislative changes of the Workers' Compensation Act. Christy represented clients including the City of Philadelphia, State Workers' Insurance Fund and Pennsylvania Manufacturer's Association (PMA).
Representing injured plaintiffs at part of Stampone, D'Angelo and Renzi, P.C. from 1996-2001, Adams successfully handled many jury trials and established herself as a leading trial attorney in the Delaware Valley.
Adams earned her law degree from Villanova University School of Law in 1994, where she was a member of both the Villanova Law Review and the Villanova Moot Court Board.
She is a member of the bars of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and practices in both state and federal courts. She is also admitted to the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania and U.S. District Court, District of New Jersey.
Professional Affiliations
Adams is a member of Philadelphia Bar Association, Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association (PATLA), Philadelphia Trial Lawyer's Association and the Lawyers Club of Philadelphia.
She is also active in the political process and supports many local candidates in their campaigns. She has been a board member of Young America PAC, a political-action committee committed to involving young people in the political process. She was also a board member of National Conference, a national organization to promote understanding between people and fight bias, bigotry and racism.
Other Education
Adams has a Bachelor of Science degree from the prestigious Rutgers University School of Business. She majored in finance and minored in economics, graduating in 1991, cum laude. She was also a member of Sigma Iota Epsilon, an Honorary Management Fraternity and Beta Gamma Sigma, the honor society for collegiate schools of business. Adams was a member of the School of Business Governing Association and the editor in chief for the first edition of the business school yearbook. With her knowledge of finance, she has special insight into investment fraud and stock-broker misconduct cases, knowing how to fight for defrauded investors.
